Installing the E-Working Fundamentals Course  

2) Put the CD in your CD Drive. 

3) Go to the Start menu in Windows and go to Run ... 

5) a dialogue box will open where you must select the program you want to run. 

6) Choose the Browse button (the last on the right). 

7) Another dialogue box will come up and you should select your CD Drive.
 

8) Once you are browsing the CD ROM drive you will see a number of folders and lots of files. One of these files is called Setup.exe - Double click on it and it will appear in the command line of the run dialogue box. 

9) Click on OK. 

10) The setup program will run

11) When the welcome screen appears click next...

12) The destination directory to be installed will appear, DON'T CHANGE THEM,  click next...

13) Click next again,

14) When asked to confirm the directories, click Yes,

15) Next you will be asked what install you wish to make, choose Typical.

16) If it asks you to overwrite any files, click yes to all.

17) When the process has finished click Finish. 

18) Now go to Start and you will see a new program group within programs called "E-Working Fundamentals". Go there and select "E-Working Fundamentals Course".
 

19) Every time you run the program you will be asked for your name, you should always put in the same name and click OK. 

20) The Main Menu of the course will appear.

21) The first time you enter the course it will detect that the protection is not installed and go directly to the installation screen. 

22) Follow the onscreen instructions with the protection disk in the Drive A:.  
Click on the button "Install license from A:"

23) A DOS screen will appear informing you that the protection is being transferred...

24) Let the process finalise before going on to step two.  If you do not you could corrupt the course.  Once the process has finished, press any key to continue.  Make sure that the title bar of the Dos Window indicates the program is finished before closing.

25) Click on the Check and Return link as indicated below.

26) Click on "Install Control File from A:". 
The control file will load in and the screen below will appear.  Once the loading has finished, click the "Check Installation and Return" button.

27) The two green bars on the protection screen show that the protection and control file have been successfully installed.  Click on OK on the top right hand corner of the screen to go back to the Main Menu.

You have now installed the E-Working Fundamentals course.

28) Click on the link "Access the Course" to enter the course index.

29) Once in the course index, clicking on the blue training unit titles will open up a summary of that training unit.

30) Then you can click on the blue link "Click to access" as indicated to access the course. 

The course should now run normally.  Please ensure that you also installed Real Media Version 7 to ensure that our multimedia commentaries work properly.
