Here
is a detailed explanation of the process that you should follow to
run the course:
1) Switch on the computer!
2) Put the floppy disk in the A: Drive and make sure it is NOT write
protected as the program must be able to access it.
3) Put the CD in your CD Drive.
4) Go to the Start menu in Windows and go to Run ...
5) a dialogue box will open where you must select the program you
want to run.
6) Choose the Browse button (the last on the right).
7) Another dialogue box will come up and you should select your CD
Drive.
8) Once you are browsing the CD ROM drive you will see a number of
folders and lots of files. One of these files is called Setup.exe -
Double click on it and it will appear in the command line of the run
dialogue box.
9) Click on OK.
10) The setup program will run
and all you must do when the
welcome screen appears is
click next,
the directories to be installed will
appear, DON'T CHANGE THEM,
click next again,
You will be asked to confirm the
directories, click yes,
Next you will be asked what install
you wish to make, choose Typical.
If it asks you to overwrite any
files, click yes to all.
When the process has finished click
Finish.
11) Now go to Start and you will see a new program group within
programs called "Marketing in International Business". Go
there and select "access the course".
12) Every time you run the program you will be asked for your name,
you should put in always the same name and click return.
13) The main course index will now open. Select the English Flag.
14) The first time you enter the course it will detect that the
protection is not installed and go directly to the installation
screen.
15) Follow the onscreen instructions
with the protection disk in the Drive.
IE, click on the button "Install
protection from A:"
A DOS screen will appear informing
you that the protection is being transferred...
and let the process finalise before
going on to step two.
Click on check and return and then
Click on "Install Control File from A:".
The control file will load in and the
screen above will appear. Once the loading has finished, click
the "check and return button".
The two green bars on the protection
screen show that the protection and control file have been
successfully installed. Click on RETURN to go to the table of
contents.
